What We Do

Why We Do It

Combining a love of dogs and a passion for adventure!

We're here to help families stay happy at home together by providing their pets with the physical and mental enrichment they need; supporting their health, happiness, and well-being.

We love our dogs, they're part of our family, and we'll do everything we can to ensure they're living a full, enriched life with us. Sometimes, it can be difficult to balance paw-renthood with work, family, and every day demands of life.

All dogs, regardless of age or breed, need structure, consistency, patience, and a healthy bond to thrive.
We believe that meeting their physical and mental stimulation needs can help to prevent some 'undesirable' behaviors from developing or getting worse.
We know they aren't giving us a hard time, they're having a hard time.

We offer alternative solutions, paw-sonalized enrichment for all types of canine companions to ensure that they get the best possible care.

Bringing our love of dogs and passion for adventure together to take your dog on a fun-filled adventure full of learning and exploration!

What Guides Us

Animal Welfare

Animal welfare refers to the physical, psychological and emotional well-being of animals in relation to the conditions they live. Developed in 1965 and widely recognized, the "Five Freedoms" describe societies expectations for animals that live under human control.

The Five Freedoms

1. Freedom from hunger, malnutrition and thirst.

2. Freedom from fear and distress.

3. Freedom from heat stress or physical discomfort.

4. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease.

5. Freedom to express normal patterns of behavior.

Community Connection

We are proud to be part of a larger pet care community, and to be able to connect you with other paw-rents and professionals who are passionate about your pets well-being.

We strive to build meaningful relationships with our pack members and create a sense of belonging within our local community. To make sure that no paw-rent ever has to feel like they're in it alone, especially when tackling challenging behaviors.

An atmosphere of love and understanding is the key to creating a supportive community and to provide the education and resources needed to thrive.

Environmental Stewardship

“If people in general could be got into the woods, even for once, to hear the trees speak for themselves, all difficulties in the way of forest preservation would vanish.”
― John Muir

We respect the environment and are conscious of our impact on the planet. We clean up after our pack members on our daily adventures, as well as any litter we find along the way including the removal of invasive plants while remaining mindful of fragile ecosystems.
We hope to lead by example, leaving the outdoors better than we found it. To encourage, inspire, and educate others about the importance of taking care of our wild places.

We believe that together we can make a difference in the world, one paw at a time.

Accessibility

Every dogs deserves the opportunity to explore the great outdoors!
We're committed supporting our pack members on their journey to keep their dogs happy, healthy and well cared for while experiencing the joy of exploration and discovery.
We strive to be accessible and inclusive by keeping our prices affordable and accepting donations of previously loved pet supplies and outdoor gear to stock our Gear Closet, available for a 'pay what you can' donation.

The proceeds from our Gear Closet, as well as some of our events, fund our 'Welcome Home' program. Providing services are a reduced fee for the first three (3) months a rescue or puppy is in their new furever home.

We're even open to bartering if it helps make our services more accessible!
