About the event

Bring your Human their walking shoes and come on out to play!

Pack Walks are structured group walking sessions with an emphasis on neutrality. An inclusive, safe, and judgement-free zone of coordinated socialization to bond with your dog and improve your handling skills. An opportunity for exposure, desensitization, to practice leash manners and training with distractions, to exercise, grow community, and to have fun!

All dogs are welcome including those who are working on their leash skills or through nervousness, reactivity, or excitability.

If this is your first Pack Walk with us please reach out to schedule a free 30 minute consultation walk with an Adventure Guide prior to the event. We'll get you into the swing of things, share a few tips and tricks, and answer any questions you may have before you join the fun!

There are a few rules to keep everyone safe:

 * All participants must sign a waiver prior to participation

 * Dogs must be on leash and under control AT ALL TIMES

 * One dog per handler, unless you have received special permission. All handlers must be at least 18 years old

 * NO dog - dog interactions. Maintain a 6ft minimum bubble around each dog. Some events may increase this minimum distance. The dogs never meet each other.

 * GEAR: dogs can rock a flat or martingale collar or body harness with a standard 4-6ft leash. No flexi or bungee  leashes. We are an AKC club and follow AKC guidelines therefore, no prong collars, ecollars, or choke chains may be worn.

*Please do not try to pet, talk to, stare at, or directly approach any of the other dogs.

*Yellow ribbons or bandanas indicate that dog would like extra space. Yellow ribbons will be available at sign in.

All dogs and well-behaved children are welcome.

If you think your children may distract you from your connection with your pup, distract the other dogs, or may struggle with remaining calm, monitoring their volume, or interacting with other dogs please leave them at home for their own safety.

Space is limited.
